West Linn in Clackamas County is a fast growing city in Oregon. It is known as the "City of hill, trees and rivers". The City has beautiful parks, country settings, shopping, dining, and peaceful neighborhoods. Property values tend to be on the "upper end". The outdoor enthusiast has a wide range of opportunities as it is bordered by the Willamette and Tualatin Rivers. The Cedar oak Boat Ramp Park has access to hiking trails, fishing and wildlife viewing. The residents have strong sense of community, good support for the schools, an active adult community center and over all pride for their city. Most people are long time residents. West Linn Parks and Recreation
The City of West Linn has an abundance of park land. Over 600 acres offering up sports fields, playgrounds, biking and walking trails, a world class skate park including community recreation facilities and several special use areas such as riverfront sites for wildlife viewing. The Camassia Natural Area is a 27 acre preserve close to West Linn and features wildflower meadows, ponds, rock gardens, and beautiful woodlands. Mary S. Young State Park offers numerous walking trails with river views and is a favorite of birdwatchers.


West Linn Schools
Approximately 90 percent of all West Linn-Wilsonville graduates go on to two- and four-year colleges.
The West Linn-Wilsonville School District covers 42 square miles it includes two towns, West Linn and Wilsonville, and a rural area of Clackamas County. The district is a K-12 public school system with approximately 8,000 students.
Marylhurst University is just minutes away. Primary Schools: Boeckman Creek, Bolton, Boones Ferry, Cedaroak Park, Stafford, Sunset, Willamette. Middle Schools: Athey Creek, Inza Wood, Rosemont Ridge. High Schools: Art Tech High, West Linn High, Wilsonville High.
