The city of Beaverton has numerous attractive and well planned neighborhoods. There are over 100 parks in the City, encompassing over 1,000 acres. There is an abundance of nature to be found here, with over 30 miles of hiking trails

The Beaverton School District is the third largest district in Oregon with an estimated enrollment of 37,552 attending 49 elementary schools, 32 middle schools and 8 high schools. Option Schools & Programs - 22 Special Education - An estimated 4,341 students, qualify for special education services in 2008-09. Springville K-8, will open in the North Bethany area in September 2009. The District Goal is to increase academic achievement with an emphasis on literacy and mathematics and to give every student the skills needed to succeed, graduate from high school, and be fully prepared to move forward with further education and vocational options.

Beaverton teperature averages 36 inches of rain per year and is what keeps the area green and beautiful. The dry months are June through September and often through October. The average summer temp. is in the 80's. Winter average is in the 40's.
